RCO London Organ Forum
The College is delighted to have taken on the promotion of the highly respected and successful London Organ Forum, artistic directors Ann Elise Smoot and William Whitehead.
This year's Forum, on Saturday 21 November 2009, takes place at St Giles Cripplegate Church, and focuses on the music of Mendelssohn, the 200th anniversary of whose birth falls in 2009.
Entitled 'Mendelssohn: playing with history', the day features lectures, recitals and discussions led by Katharine Pardee (Betts Scholar, University of Oxford), Vanessa Latarche (Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music), William Whitehead (Trinty College of Music) and Ann Elsie Smoot (international concert organist and teacher).
